"When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. [25] And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. [26] Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first" (Luke 11:24-26).
In Luke chapter 11: 15 - 26, Jesus is teaching that the Kingdom of God has come to them, he said that because the King, he himself was there. He had the power to bind Satan and drive him out of any person's life, but He said when an evil spirit goes out, it will come back to its old house, the human heart, and want to reoccupy its former residence. Jesus said that the spirit finds the house swept and garnished i.e. clean and decorated.

But why was the evil spirit able to re-enter? The answer is simple, the heart was not guarded. After being set free, the person used their time for the treasures of this world. Are you guarding your heart, have you put up NO TRESPASSING signs so the enemy knows he cannot enter your life again? We are told how to guard our hearts in Ephesians:6: 10-19 It is not wrong to enjoy this world's goods but do it fully clothed with the whole armor of God. GOD LOVES YOU! 😃
